Back to Writing Coaching after 4-Year Pandemic-Induced In-House Hiatus

Girl Meets Voice

The last quarterly newsletter I sent was dated May 1, 2020. I had just launched a lovely new website to house my writing when everything went on PAUSE.

I’ve spent the past three years partnering with universities and nonprofits in-house. While I plan to continue in that vein, I’ve missed working 1:1 with writers. So I’m hitting RESUME on my coaching practice, re-opening to clients who have worked with me previously.

If we’ve worked together in the past and you’re interested in a short-term coaching boost for a month or three, please visit this page for more. I’ll only be taking on a small handful of clients at a time so that I can give everyone my all.

Lastly, a public service announcement: The deadline for applications for 2025 Ragdale residencies is June 30, 2024. Special fellowships are available, so do scan the website closely. Time at Ragdale has allowed me to keep my writing projects moving through a pandemic, parenthood, and working full-time. It’s the only place, quite literally, where I make significant strides. I love to share a good thing, so I hope you’ll consider applying if this is something you hunger for. The application isn’t arduous.

And if you have a moment, do write back and let me know how you – and your writing – are. As always, I am cheering you on!

With love from cicada country,
Deborah
PS. In the past few years, I quit Twitter (X, whatever) and joined the Instagram party. Follow me on Insta and I’ll follow back.
